Police Looking for Allenwood Way Purse Thief
Neighbors report seeing strangers cruising in the Brockett Meadows area.
A resident of Allenwood Way in Tucker had her purse stolen from inside her house while the family was home on Friday night. She had left her front door unlocked and the purse was taken around 9:30 p.m.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, says her two small children were inside the house while she and other adults were in the back yard.
DeKalb police filed a report on Saturday after the purse was noticed as missing. Her iPhone inside the purse was pinpointed to a location in Griffin, Ga. A detective and a uniformed officer are traveling to Griffin to search for a suspect today.

Other residents of the area told Tucker Patch about noticing unfamiliar cars in the Brockett Meadows subdivision after people leave for work in the morning.
