Police, Holcomb to Host Meeting on Crime in Northlake

The town hall meeting will be held at Henderson Mill Elementary School on Sept. 22 and will cover crime occurring in the area.

The DeKalb County Police Department and state Rep. Scott Holcomb will host a town hall meeting on crime in the Northlake area later this month.

The meeting, which will be held in on Sept. 22, is also hosted by the Northlake Community Alliance and will cover what types of crime occur in the Tucker, Northlake, Lakeside and Embry Hills areas.

Local police experts will discuss the best ways to prevent break-ins into homes, cars and other sorts of crimes. They will also discuss the effectiveness of community policing and will take questions from the audience.

The meeting will run from 7:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
