UPDATE: Police Ask for Help In Finding Woman and Child

The woman, 33, and a 2-year-old child missing since Thursday evening have been located.

Gwinnett Police issued the following statement today:

Our investigators confirmed that Ms. Flor Cabrera DeRodriguez and her child have been located. The mother is currently at Piedmont Hospital undergoing treatment for her pre-existing medical condition and the child is safe with family members.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman and a 2-year-old child who went missing Thursday evening.

According to a press release, Flor DeRodriquez, a 33-year-old Hispanic woman, last spoke to her husband at about 8:45 p.m. Jan. 5. She is reported to have a medical condition which requires treatment several times a day. Also missing is 2-year-old Emanuel DeRodriquez.

Anyone who knows of their whereabouts or has contact with them is asked to call the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5700.
