Pimp Overstays His Welcome at Local Hotel

An assault at a Tucker hotel involved a prostitute, police say.

The manager of a Tucker hotel was attacked by a man who refused to pay for a room he had been using for prostitution, according to DeKalb Police.

Marlowe Scott Ross, who is employed at the Stone Mountain Inn, told officers that an unidentified tenant grabbed him by the throat, pushed him down and threatened him with a knife after Ross told him "his stay at the business had expired," the report said. The assault was corroborated by a witness.

"Ross stated that the tenant said he needs to use the room so his girl can make some money, and he would pay them after," police reported. When Ross insisted on payment, he was attacked, and the couple fled the scene.
