A man died early Monday morning when his SUV went off Interstate 85 north in DeKalb County.
Police were called to the accident on I-85 at North Druid Hills Road about 2:20 a.m. Monday, reports WGCL TV.
A 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling on the access road parallel to I-85 north when the driver tried to enter the I-85 North ramp but lost control. According to police, the vehicle went down the embankment and flipped into the road, landing in the number three lane on I-85 north.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the SUV went for help.
