Man Charged for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct

Police say the suspect has been in the same kind of trouble before.

Police responded to a neighbor dispute at a Fellowship Road apartment complex on Sept. 29 and found a man who appeared "intoxicated and hostile," according to a police report.

Witnesses told officers the suspect was causing a disturbance by yelling, banging on doors and breaking windows. "When they tried to stop him, the suspect was hostile towards them. He menaced them with his fists," the report said.

Officer D.A. Fonseca wrote, "I approached the suspect and immediately detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage upon his person. He then tried to kick me."

After his arrest, the man "continued to be loud and hostile" and "stumbled due to his intoxication." He was arrested on charges of Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.

Fonseca recognized the suspect as the same man he had arrested previously under similar circumstances at the same location.
