Major Brian Harris Gets Promoted, Again

Tucker Precinct's former Commander is now a Brigadier General.

Former Tucker Precinct Commander Brian Harris is set to lead a division of the Alabama Army National Guard after receiving a promotion to the rank of Brigadier General.Β Β 

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley made the official announcement during a pinning ceremony last week. In this new role, Harris will serve as the Deputy Commanding General of a Logistics Division headquartered at Fort McClellan, Alabama.

Harris is a 20 year veteran of the DeKalb County Police force and left the Tucker Precinct in April to take his current position as Commander of the Special Operations Division, which he wll keep in addition to his new responsibilities.
