Injured Pedestrian Gets Facebook Support

Friends of Eli Tabb are offering encouragement for his recovery.

A Facebook page has been set up for the Tucker pedestrian who was struck by a car on Sept. 21 and severely injured.

Eli Tabb, 20, an employee of both Roly Poly and Starbucks, was crossing Lawrenceville Highway at Idlewood Road during the evening rush hour when the accident happened.

Friends of Eli is the name of the page, and it will provide updates on his recovery as well as give readers a forum for sending good wishes. Tabb remains hospitalized at the Atlanta Medical Center in serious condition.

One post on the site says, "In an effort to give back to him a little of what he's given us, we've established this page. Send him your well wishes, good thoughts, and great memories."
