(On Saturday) Dianne Dougherty was going to show the home we have listed at the corner of Hugh Howell and Rosser Road in Smoke Rise. She interrupted a burglary in progress.
The thieves were busy ripping out copper and getting ready to take the air conditioning unit. They got away but she got a description. Two white males in a late model shiny tan Ford F150 crew cab. Police are pretty sure that they will be back.
