Gunfire at Waffle House Injures One; Three Arrested

It started as a possible road rage incident, police say.

A man in a black BMW started firing rounds at the driver of a white van outside a Waffle House in Tucker late Tuesday night.

It started as a possible road rage incident, police say. The van driver allegedly rammed the BMW several times in the restaurant's parking lot. That started the gunfire, according to WXIA

The driver of the van is in hospital with gunshot wounds, and police apprehended three occupants of the BMW in a nearby neighborhood.

There were no injuries inside the Waffle House, where customers were being served. "They hit the floor," employee Antonio McDaniel told WXIA, saying he heard at least eight shots. "I looked up and the guy jumped out of the black car and started letting off rounds."
