'Deranged' Man at Longhorn Meant No Harm, Police Say
Police responded to a possible armed robbery at the Tucker restaurant.
Police were called to Longhorn Steakhouse in Tucker Thursday afternoon after a man described as mentally deranged caused a disturbance.
Capt. Steven Fore told Patch officers were summoned to the restaurant at 4315 Hugh Howell Road around 4 p.m. "on what initially was believed to be an armed robbery in progress."
Witnesses reported seeing at least seven police cars outside the restaurant. The man was questioned and it was determined he did not pose a threat.
