DeKalb Police Department Filling 80 Positions
Qualified applicants are needed to join the force.
The DeKalb County Police Department is seeking qualified applicants to join the force and needs to fill approximately 80 officer positions.
The Department will host a recruitment fair on Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1950 West Exchange Place (Fire Rescue Headquarters) in Tucker.

Representatives from various units of the agency will discuss career opportunities with applicants. Background and recruiting personnel will also conduct pre-screening interviews and assist with the initial application process.

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 20 years of age
- United States Citizen
- No Felony or Domestic Violence Convictions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Honorable Discharge, If Veteran
