DeKalb County will host a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training Workshop beginning April 25 through June 20.
The six-week workshop will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 β 9:30 p.m. at DeKalb Fire Rescue Headquarters, 1960 West Exchange Place in Tucker.
Participants will learn what to do before, during and after a disaster occurs. The workshop will also train citizens to care for their family and neighbors.

Course topics include: Disaster Preparedness, Basic Fire Suppression, Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Operations, Disaster Psychology, Team Org/Terrorism, Autism Awareness, and Disaster Drill.
