Business Burglars Caught on Camera

Two men were seen casually going over a commercial property to see what they could steal.

Reader Lyle Collins posted the following on Facebook about recent criminal activity on Tucker Industrial DriveΒ

Burglary alert! Last Saturday evening (Sept. 21)Β around 9 p.m., two thieves drove their GMC pickup truck onto one of the commercial properties on Tucker Industrial Dr.

The two men stole a few items from around the warehouse. They spent most of their time checking all of my company's trucks and trailers that are on the property. All of our trucks' bins were fully locked, and nothing was enticing in sight for them to break in.

They loaded some miscellaneous items into their truck before driving back across the front lawn and away into the dark. The five images are from the surveillance cameras. You can see the two men, and also see the GMC truck. It is an extended cab model. Notice the front right headlight is out. The right (passenger side) taillight was also out.

They checked all of our trucks and trailers. You can see the door on one trailer closed in some pics, and open in others. All that is in that trailer is pine straw. They stole all the gas cans and diesel cans from out trucks. They took an old tricycle that our crew brought back from a client that didn't want it. Of all the things to steal, they took random items overall. If they took anything else, we haven't noticed it yet.Β

The guys spent about 11 minutes on the property. They were not in any rush at all, just walking around with a flashlight checking out everything to see what they could steal.

There was another theft from the same business, during the day, recently as well. I believe the ID'd the young man that stole some power tools out of the bed of the pickup truck that was in the parking lot. The surveillance cameras had good images of that guy.

Be on the lookout. If anyone recognizes the truck, or the men, please call the police.
