Burned Car Victim Identified as Local Teenager

Former Tucker High School student Andrea Nassos was found dead Friday inside a smoldering car.

The body found early Friday inside a burned-out car at Lucky Shoals Park has been identified as Andrea Eleni Nassos, 18, a former student at Tucker High School and a resident of Stone Mountain, according to a statement from the school.

Police and firefighters were called to the park shortly after 5 a.m. Friday and discovered a car that had been on fire with a body inside. The park is located on the Tucker-Norcross border at 4651 Britt Road.

The victim attended Tucker High School from 9th - 11th grade, moving to a private school in 2010 for her senior year. A statement issued by Judy Spain, THS Communications Officer, said that Nassos worked three jobs and was hoping to become a pharmacist.
