henderson park crime

I went to Henderson Park today, the area near the lake with the kids playground, saw that a car had one of its windows smashed.  I took my kids down toward the lake and warned a couple of women.  Turned out it was their car. When we all started walking up to the lot, a car drove away.  Basically: I think that there are often one or two cars that are NOT empty in that lot, and they contain people that are breaking into the other cars.  Hide your valuables.  The woman had left her purse on the rear seat.  Vehicle had some tinted windows, but evidently it was still visible.  Personally, I'm completely DONE going to this park.   It's way too easy for the thieves to pray on the cars in this lot.
