Tucker Husband, Wife Pass Away in Same Week

The following are the obituaries for Robert Andrew Milne Sr. and Kathleen Milne.

Richard Andrew Milne Sr., age 75, of Tucker, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Kathleen Diane Milne, daughters and sons-in-law Laura and Guy Wilson of Hoschton, GA, Lisa and Danny Miller of Dacula, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Susan Milne, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Nathaniel Wilson, Franklin and Dale Miller, Jacklyen Milne, great grandson, Christian.

Richard was a member of Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church. He enjoyed running and walking. He liked NASCAR, drag racing and was very active in his church, enjoyed his family and taking care of his beloved wife.

Richard's wife, Kathleen Diane Milne, age 73, of Tucker, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Andrew Milne, Sr. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Guy Wilson of Hoschton, GA, Lisa and Danny Miller of Dacula, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Susan Milne, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Maureen (Rene) Townsend of Encinitas, CA; brother James (Jim) Soine of Woodinville, WA; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Nathaniel Wilson, Franklin and Dale Miller, Jacklyen Milne, great grandson, Christian. 

Kathleen was a member of Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church. She was an avid player of tennis and bridge. She was also very active in her church. 

A Celebration of Life Service for Kathleen Diane Milne and Richard Andrew Milne Sr. will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00PM at Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church 3142 Lawrenceville Hwy Tucker, GA 30084 in memory of Kathleen Diane Milne.
