Memorial Service Planned for Cassie Corkran

Corkran was diagnosed with thyroid cancer six months ago.

A memorial service will be held this month for Cassie Corkran, who died Feb. 24 of cancer at her Smoke Rise home at the age of 55.

The 'Celebration of Life' will be held at the Smoke Rise Country Club, 4900 Chedworth Drive, on March 17 from 12 noon until 3 p.m.

Corkran is survived by her mother, Blanche Taylor; husband, Dr. Edward Corkran, and daughter, Reilly Corkran, among many other relatives.
