A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 19 for Chris McDonald of Stone Mountain who died last week at the age of 40.
McDonald was born in Tucker and graduated from Avondale High School in 1993. He is survived by his parents Tommy and Beverly McDonald.
No cause of death was given. A friend wrote on his tribute page: "Chris was an amazing man and a great co-worker at Publix. He always made me smile with his stories and the smirk he got on his face when he was checking out women. He will be truly missed."
