Dot Johnson Dies at 81

Retired Southern Bell clerk will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Dot Johnson of Tucker died on Friday, Sept. 21 at the age of 81. The cause of death was not revealed in her Atlanta Journal-Constitution obituary.

Johnson, who was retired, had worked as a service clerk with Southern Bell, and was a member of Tucker's First Baptist Church.

The funeral takes place at Bill Head Funeral Home, 6101 Lawrenceville Highway, on Tuesday, Sept. 25, starting at 11 a.m., and burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker.

She is survived by Tommy Johnson, her husband of 52 years; sister Gladys Crawford, and several nieces and nephews.
