I got the chance to try some of Sweet Dee’s cupcakes at church last Sunday. (For those of you who don’t know, Sweet Dee’s is a bakery opening up in downtown Tucker in approximately two weeks.)
They are AMAZING. The cake was moist but didn’t fall apart in the wrapper (a personal pet peeve) and the icing was the perfect finishing touch on top. (Not too sweet.)
I had a chocolate cupcake with buttercream icing. It was a classic and absolutely perfect. My friend will not stop talking about the red velvet cupcake, but I was so satisfied after mine, I didn’t even want a bite of hers!

On a personal note, Dee is very sweet and patient when I brought my friend’s 7-year-old to the table to pick out cupcakes. (We had to discuss colors, flavors, etc. before making a choice.)
I think she and her team will be an awesome addition to downtown. I recommend you all check her out in the near future. Her shop will be located on Main Street right next to and .
