Much to my dismay, the cold weather is upon us. It can't be denied. And, to add insult to injury, soon it'll be time to endure the dreaded wintertime natural gas bills.
So, here's a tip to keep your bill a little bit lower this fall and winter: Reverse the direction of your ceiling fans!
You've probably noticed the little switch located on the base of your fan. Flip it and the direction of the blades will change. In the colder months, your blades should be turning CLOCKWISE - and on the slowest speed.
