Win $100,000 For Your Favorite Local Park

As families ‘Take It to the Park’ this weekend to celebrate the holiday, they can help their favorite parks in Tucker and Stone Mountain-Lithonia win $100,000 through Coca-Cola’s America Is Your Park campaign.

Voting ends July 15, and the park with the most votes will win a $100,000 recreation grant from Coca-Cola and the title of “America's Favorite Park.''

There are lots of ways that people can vote, but it starts with getting active:
1) Click: Get one vote for your favorite park by going to Coke.com/parks
2) Check-in: Get five votes for your favorite park by checking in at the park with Foursquare
3) Get active: Get 10 votes for your favorite park by logging 20 minutes of activity with MapMyFitness.

There is a double vote today, July 5, and the last weekend of voting (July 13 and 14) that will give people an extra incentive to keep moving and voting. Second and third place parks will win $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively.

Another $15,000 grant will be awarded, at random, to a lucky park that comes in 4th to 25th on the leader board. There’s a lot at stake. Just think about what how the grant could improve your park and entire community.
