St. Andrews Steps Up Environmental Efforts
The church also supports several nonprofit organizations such as Rivers of the World, which encourages water conservation.
A video has been produced highlighting the environmental work being done by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker.
Earlier this year the church earned the Georgia Interfaith Power & Light 'Creation Wise' certification, recognizing the church’s efforts in five areas: energy conservation, sustainable gardening, water conversation, sustainable purchasing, and waste reduction.
St. Andrews is just the fourth church in the state to receive this designation, according to their website.
