Tucker Nonprofits Receive Cash Awards
Former Atlanta Brave Brian Jordan was in attendance as Wells Fargo donated money to three local organizations.
Three Tucker nonprofit organizations won $1,000 awards at a ceremony Monday.
The Wells Fargo Days Of Giving donations were handed to Home Aid Atlanta, WOW In-Sync, and Young People Matter during a community breakfast at the Evergreen Marriott Resort in Stone Mountain Park.
In all, 55 groups received $1,000 checks, and were selected by staff in the South Atlanta area for the work they are doing locally.

Baseball star Brian Jordan attended and spoke to the group. “Believe in what you do. Reach out to everyone – a lot of people want to help. And a lot of people need help.”
“We are doing our best to be a great local bank, and this is a cornerstone of our local giving and volunteerism,” said area manager Robert Dobbs.
