AAFDD Brings Music to Rec Center

Answers and Alternatives for Families of the Developmentally Disabled (AAFDD) is holding its seventh annual Bluegrass Pot Luck Family Social tonight, Monday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. 

The gathering will take place at the in Room Two and will feature a live performance by Viva and Neil Araki, also known as the Nearly Normal Band.

Guests are asked to bring a main dish, side dish or desserts to share. Soft drinks and fried chicken will be provided.

The organization is inviting parents, job coaches, support coordinators, care providers, friends, and room mates.

AAAFDD is an all volunteer advocacy group for families of the developmentally disabled in the Atlanta Metro area and which meets monthly at the Tucker Recreation Center. Their mission is to provide opportunities for parents to network with other families and professionals in order to make informed decisions on quality of life issues that affect their children.
