Please join Tucker Civic Association (TCA) on Thursday, February 21 at 7:30 at Tucker First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall 2367 Main Street for the first in a series of Tucker Lifelong Community (TLC) educational programs.
Each of the monthly sessions, held the third Thursday of the month, will feature two speakers representing local services, businesses or organizations. The purpose of these programs is to offer Tucker residents a chance to “get to know” some of the great opportunities and resources in our community that they might not be aware of.
The speakers for the first meeting are William Smith, Director of the Tucker Recreation Center, and Dawn Hines, Master Gardener. William will discuss the activities and programs (for all ages) that the Rec center offers. He will have copies of the new program guide along with information on how and where to sign up. He’ll also talk about future plans and how we can help. Dawn will share information about the two Master Gardener projects located at the Tucker Recreation Center: Trees of Tucker and the butterfly garden located in front of Browning Courthouse.
