10:15 -11:00 Elias (Tim) Timmons author of A History of Tucker 1821-1942) will discuss the Civil War events of July 1864 when Union troops passed through Northlake/Tucker area

11:15 - Noon  Meet Mary Gay.  Fran Frantz will present a dramatic monologue in which she portrays Mary Ann Harris Gay who resided in downtown Decatur.

1:00 - 1:45  Preserving African-American History at Flat Rock.  Johnny Waits, President of the Flat Rock Archives) will give a presentation on Flat Rock. Following the Civil War, former slaves established homes, churches and schools there.

2:00 - 3:00  Battle of Atlanta Slide Presentation narrated by Dave Buckhout. He and his wife Kerri maintain The Almanack, an online journal for history enthusiast.
