Celebration for Tucker's Feasibility Study

The Tucker community is getting a special gift this year – a successful Feasibility Study confirming that the City of Tucker is viable and will offer local control over important quality of life issues. You and your family are invited to join Tucker 2014 and Santa for a community celebration on Saturday, December 21st from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the downtown Tucker Square.

“We have some exciting news to share, and downtown Tucker is the perfect location for us, with the help of Santa, to deliver this gift to the 120-year-old Tucker community, said Tucker 2014 President Sonja Szubski. “This will be a fun way for us to thank everyone who has worked so hard talking with neighbors, contacting legislators, and raising money to ensure that our community will have a local voice at the table for decisions impacting our future. We want everyone to know how much we appreciate their support and give them even more reason to be excited about continuing their efforts for a city of Tucker in the New Year.”

Santa will arrive in style to deliver the news, and Tucker 2014 supporters will be on-hand to greet neighbors across the Tucker community. Adults can enjoy hot coffee while the kids tell Santa exactly what they’re dreaming of finding under the tree. Businesses on Tucker’s thriving Main Street will be open for last-minute shopping. The event is free and there will be special treats for kids of all ages.
