Which Atlanta Landmarks Would You Like to See in Legos?

The public can choose which sites will be shown at the attraction opening at Phipps in April.

, which opens at Buckhead's next spring, is seeking nominations and votes on which Atlanta landmarks will be represented at the attraction.

Each Legoland has a Miniland area, which displays models of attractions unique to the city where the Legoland is located. Each attraction is made out of Legos. Starting Friday, Atlanta area residents can vote on which Atlanta landmarks to include, according to a news release.

On Nov. 4, the top 20 contenders will be announced. From then through Nov. 17, voters will decide on the top 10 landmarks, which will be announced on Nov. 18.

Along with Atlanta sites such as Stone Mountain, Turner Field, the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia Dome, Buckhead landmarks can be included. Buckhead folks can vote on their favorities, whether Lenox Square or Phipps,  the , , the or other spots.

The nomination and voting will take place online at the Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta website. The top 10 landmarks will be announced the beginning of November on the attraction’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LDCatlanta.
