Tigers Give Back to Needy Children

Tucker footballers provide Christmas presents for elementary school kids.

At this giving time of year, our Tucker Tigers Quarterback Club decided to "give back" to several needy children at our Idlewood, Brockett, and Midvale elementary feeder schools on Friday, Dec. 21.

Thank you to all who were involved in making this a special day for these children, but a special "thank you" goes out to Mrs. De Rivers.

There were 16 children who received gifts from the QBC. The players were unable to deliver the gifts personally because of finals. So, Mrs. Rivers and Mrs. Adrienne Poole, along with our Tiger mascot, delivered the gifts to the schools.

The kids loved the 'tiger' who just happened to be Justin Rivers, a 2012 Tucker graduate and football player. (He is the one who ran the fumble back for a touchdown in the 2011 game against Northside Warner Robins).
