Rain Brings Threat of Flooding to Tucker Area

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Tuesday.

A stalled front across central Georgia is bringing widespread rain to the metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

The heavy, steady rain could cause flooding to areas with small streams, rivers and low lying areas, including Tucker. The NWS has issued a flood watch through tonight (Tuesday, Jan. 15).

The rain is expected to diminish on Wednesday but is expected to increase again on Thursday which could cause additional flooding to the area.
