Police Patrols Needed at Henderson Park

I am a loyal participant of Henderson Park. I go to the park daily for a hike.

I have noticed lately that there is glass in the Henderson Rd. parking lot, due to a vehicle break-in. I have seen the Dekalb police make an arrest due to drug trafficing and I have seen, on many occassions, people sitting in their cars and eating and throwing their trash into the parking lots.

This makes you feel very uncomfortable to park your car in the parking lot, especially when there is little sports activity.

Could you please give some advice to us participants, or maybe have the police patrol the park more often.

It is very unfortunate that we have to be afraid to use our beautiful parks.
