Nesbit Elementary held a back-to-school event on Wednesday, featuring the Atlanta Hawks' NBA Fit Clinic, a wellness program that encourages physical activity and healthy living for children and families.
The Scana Energy Homework Center at Nesbit was where coaches, athletes, and cheerleaders shared important health and fitness tips and interacted with students at various drilling stations in the school’s gym.
The center operates from 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and serves 45 second through fourth grade students.
