This year is a big year. In honor of the organization’s 100th Anniversary, a new cookie from none other than the state of Georgia hits the stands – “Savannah Smiles.” According to the organization’s website, it is a bite-sized lemon wedge cookie with a dusting of powered sugar. Savannah, Ga. featured prominently in plans for the new cookie because of its history as home of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low.

Through the cookie sales and other activities, Girl Scouts learn life skills and realize how to live up to their full potential. All proceeds from cookie sales support Girl Scouting in our community.
