A fire that started in the kitchen destroyed most of a house in Tucker Sunday afternoon.
The duplex at 4350 Hanfred Lane was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly after noon.
An occupant and a pet escaped without injuries, fireman Steve Ham told Patch.
