Check Out the Big Toy Catalogs for Holiday Toy Deals in Tucker

The Big Three of toy retailers with Tucker locations--Target, Toys R Us and Walmart--are already thinking holiday deals.

Sure, you may still be eating all your Halloween loot or planning to get candy at deep discounts now that Oct. 31 has come and gone. You're not even really thinking about Thanksgiving yet, perhaps, but the retailers are two steps ahead of you.

Target, Toys R Us and Walmart all have had their big toy circulars leaked to discount-gathering sites like Fat Wallet. They're some meaty catalogs, for sure: Target's is 110 pages, Toys R Us' comes in at 80 and Walmart's is a svelte 48.

Note that some prices and availability may vary locally, but these will give you some general ideas of what kinds of holiday toy deals are waiting in the wings.

Target will offer a special wishlist feature so kids can easily show everyone what they really, really want. Their catalog is sorted by categories including games, gadgets, movies and books plus top toys.

Toys R Us offers price matching and layaway, plus site-to-store pickup and 10 percent off purchases for Rewards R Us members. Their catalog also includes pages of coupons for savings on Fisher-Price, Lego, Crayola, Little Tikes, Lalaloopsy and more.

Walmart also offers an online wish list service and layway. Its catalog is divided into girls, boys, preschool and family (bikes, Power Wheels, sports and so on). They promise more than 200 toys under $30, too.

If you're a fan of lightning deals, check out Amazon's Holiday Toy List Lightning Deals, where each day they offer a new toy at a great deal but in limited quantities. Recently, a kid-friendly digital camera was on offer for $21.99, 45 percent off its list price, and all of the available cameras were claimed. If you miss the window of opportunity, you can join a wait list, so keep an eye on Amazon.

So, yes, it's early, but that doesn't mean it's too early to start thinking about gifts.
