Update: Tucker Runner Finished Boston Marathon
One of three runners from Tucker is known to have finished Monday's race.

ESPN has released a list of all the participating runners from Georgia in Monday's Boston Marathon who finished the race before it was cut short by two deadly bomb blasts.
On the list is Michael Anderson, runner # 5494, of Tucker, who completed the course with a time of 3:23:14.

The other two local runners, Taeki Lee and Carlos Resendiz, were not able to complete the race before it was called off.

Two explosions near the finish line of Monday's Boston Marathon have killed three people and injured 176, according to multiple media reports.

We at Patch wanted to take a moment to share that our thoughts and prayers are with the victims as well as these Tucker residents who were registered for today's race.
Their names are Michael Anderson, 55, Taeki Lee, 57, and Carlos Resendiz, 41.

The site, activated by the Red Cross for the marathon explosion, allows user to search for you by name to check on your status.
