Social Indicators Research from October 2012 reports that happiness and mental health are highest among people who eat seven portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Mental wellbeing appeared to rise proportionately with the number of daily portions of fruit and vegetables people consumed. Wellbeing peaked at seven portions a day.
So stay merry this holiday season by making sure that your diet contains high amounts of fruits and vegetables in addition to the bird, mashed potatoes and gravy!
