Will your holiday diet help or hinder your mental health?

Well, it kinda depends on what you eat. New research proves that food does in fact affect your mood!

Social Indicators Research from October 2012 reports that happiness and mental health are highest among people who eat seven portions of fruit and vegetables a day.

Mental wellbeing appeared to rise proportionately with the number of daily portions of fruit and vegetables people consumed. Wellbeing peaked at seven portions a day.

So stay merry this holiday season by making sure that your diet contains high amounts of fruits and vegetables in addition to the bird, mashed potatoes and gravy!
