Honoring DeKalb's Police
Join us to recognize Dekalb Police Officers at the picnic and festivities on May 29th, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at Mountain West Church campus, 4818 Hugh Howell Road, Stone Mountain, GA. All are welcomed.
It only makes sense that a church would gather around to recognize the sacrifice that police officers make so people in a place like Tucker can live in safety.
Good news: Mountain West Church is doing just that! In partnership with Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and Tucker Civic Association, Mountain West Church is joining forces to conduct the largest recognition day in the county to honor several Dekalb County Police Officers in five nearby precincts.

MW has been my home church for over a year now and I have to say that these people are amazingly loving and accepting. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with warmth and smiles. There is no one particular ethnicity, age, gender, or status of wealth. I've never stepped foot into such a diverse setting filled with people who really prove that they love God and love people.
