W. Wesley Hamilton Joins Sterling Risk Advisors as Broker and Managing Director of Strategic Accounts

W. Wesley Hamilton, Jr. has joined Sterling Risk Advisors as a Broker and Managing Director of Strategic Accounts. He has more than 20 years experience in providing risk management and commercial/professional solutions for his clients across a diverse spectrum of industries including construction, commercial, professional services, manufacturing, nonprofits, retail and technology.

Hamilton recognizes the unique challenges faced by business owners and executives and specializes in helping small and growing companies minimize risk and maximize profitability. As a broker, he helps clients manage their insurable risk in the most effective way possible. With many clients in the construction field, he understands the importance of staying abreast of current legislative, tax and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Sterling Risk Advisors, Hamilton practiced as a producer with Graham-Naylor Agency Inc. and as a contract surety underwriter with Nobel Insurance Company, a national surety specializing in small and emerging contractors.

Hamilton’s professional organization involvement includes:

●      Certified Insurance Counselor since 2003

●      Membership in the Georgia Utility Contractors Association and the Associated General Contractors of Georgia

●      Leadership roles including Legislative Committee Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the ABC of Georgia.

 

His community involvement involves serving on the board of Mary’s Merry Christmas Foundation, dedicated to spreading holiday joy to children with cancer, and to their families

 

Hamilton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  He lives in Chamblee with his wife Deanna and their two children, Will and Avery.
