What's Up at Tucker Farmers Market

Area restaurants continue hosting dine-arounds to celebrate Atlanta Farmers Market Month.

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to come out last week. We think that just means this week at the Tucker Farmers Market will be twice as nice.

Our two new vendors from last week are returning. Freedom Farm & Fruit from Murray County, Georgia, is bringing freshly picked apples and pears. Mama J's Produce will bring hydroponic lettuces and herbs. Come early for the best picks!

Be sure to check out the Vendor Roster for this week on our website. It can be a great inspiration for your grocery list!

Dine-arounds This week, the Tucker Farmers Market and area restaurants continue hosting dine-arounds in celebration of Atlanta Farmers Market Month. On select days and times, the TFM will receive a portion of the proceeds from these restaurants.

We have three great events coming up this week:

, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m., August 16: A great dinner option before or after tomorrow's market!

, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., August 21

, 5-10 p.m., August 22 (not including alcohol)

We are collaborating with eight other local markets on these events. Check out the full list of events on our website.

Last week to donate School Supplies for Area Schools The TFM is cooperating with the First Baptist Church of Tucker to collect school supplies for  and . Bring your donations to the Tucker Farmers Market booth today, and we will enter your name in a raffle for a $50 giftcard to the TFM. The drawing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 at the market. You do not have to be present to win. Check our website for a list of supplies teachers would most like to have.

Can’t wait to see you today, Thursday, Aug. 16, from 4-8 p.m., in the parking lot at 2333 Main Street!
