Tucker Business Joins Hunger Fight

Tucker moving agent Philpot Relocation Systems is joining Atlas Van Lines in a partnership with non-profit Move For Hunger, which fights against nationwide hunger.

PRS, at 1909 Forge Street in Tucker, is one of many Atlas agents in the United States that perform year-round service programs with Move For Hunger. 

As part of the partnership, the company is building awareness on nationwide hunger by encouraging customers to donate unused food items to local food banks when embarking on a household move.

"The Atlas family is excited to have the opportunity to partner with Move For Hunger and join the fight against the food shortage our country is facing,” said Jack Griffin, president and COO of Atlas World Group.

To date, Atlas and its agents have contributed more than 32,273 pounds of non-perishable food to local food banks across the country.
