Learn how to create a blog, a web page, or a business site.

The Friends of will sponsor a seminar given by Micah Wood at the library on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.  

This program is free and open to the public. You can learn how to set up a blog, a web page, or a business website. This Hands On seminar will help individuals and small businesses easily create a web presence.  

WordPress is the most popular content management system on the web. It is completely free, and allows users to easily create and manage a website. Join us as we walk you step-by-step through the process and answer your questions.

Micah Wood is a Georgia State alumni and an entrepreneur. He has a degree in Business Management and Marketing as well as 15 years of business experience to back it up. Wood began using WordPress four years ago and is now a   professional WordPress developer and SEO consultant serving clients around the world. Wood is also the developer of the Friends of the Tucker Library website

Please bring your laptops and some paper for taking notes. This seminar will take place in the meeting room, which has Wi-Fi. The library opens at 10 a.m., and we will get started very shortly after that.
