Las Colinas Offers Scoutmob Deal

New Mexican eatery gets kudos from the popular online service.

Las Colinas Mexican Grill, which opened on Main Street in May, is getting attention from Scoutmob, the website and phone app responsible for offering stellar deals on restaurant meals, among other things.

Scoutmob has this to say about Las Colinas: "The cutest little street you probably never knew existed is home to a tight knit community (and a pretty stellar high school football team), and smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood is four month old , a family run Mexican joint boasting flavorful Tex-Mex dishes (everything from fajitas and tacos to molcajete, a pot of sizzling meats and veggies, topped with a grilled cactus leaf and a skewer of shrimp) and an abundance of tequila-laden libations."

The grill's owner, Juan Ramirez, and explained his approach. “I am always overseeing the food. The food has to be picture-perfect. Very presentable. And it has to be quality. We don't keep anything frozen. Produce has to be fresh in order to give the customers the best taste.”

The Scoutmob write-up added: "Priority numero uno is making his diners feel like family, so it’s no wonder that guests quickly become regulars after their first time in. And with live music every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, Las Colinas is the perfect place to wind down midweek. Just make sure to come hungry."
