Hushpuppies Grill Opening Wednesday

A wine and beer license is still pending, owners say.

Hushpuppies Seafood Grill will open its doors to Tucker starting Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m., it was announced Monday by co-owner Vanessa Herrera.

At first, the restaurant will have limited opening hours "as our staff continues to train," Herrera said in a Facebook post.

A wine and beer license is still pending and will not be in place for another three to four weeks, Herrera said, but "we wanted to start sharing our new dishes with the community."Β The owners plan to celebrate the opening after all permits are active.Β 

Hushpuppies is the brainchild of Jerry Herrera, who used to run Sangria's and is using the same location for the new venture.Β

Sat 25 - 5pm -10pm
Sun 26 - Closed
Mon 27 - 11am-3pm
Tue 28 - 11am-3pm
Wed 29 - 11am-3pm / 5pm-9:30pm
Thu 30 - 11am-3pm / 5pm-9:30pm
Fri 31 - 11am-3pm / 5pm-9:30pm
Sat 1 - 5pm-10pm
Sun 2 - Superbowl Sunday - Closed
