Frugal Family: Back to School Savings

School starts August 8: Are you ready?

With temperatures in the 90s, it's hard to believe summer's nearly over. But, for students in Tucker, school starts August 8. Back-to-school sales are in full swing in many stores throughout our area.

Some highlights: 24-count Crayola crayons are 40 cents, 8-count Crayola markers are around $1, and many notebooks are selling for $1 or less.

also has many supplies on sale, mainly notebooks as well as some Crayola items for as little as $1. All their lunch kits are currently 15% off, too.

Having trouble finding the Zaner Bloser handwriting paper that's inevitably on your elementary student's list? is the only store in Tucker that I've found that carries it, but they have plenty.
