DeKalb Chamber Rolls Out New Office, Name and Logo

The organization has moved from Tucker to offices in Decatur.

The DeKalb Chamber moved its main offices back to Decatur a few months ago after four years in Tucker.

On Thursday, the chamber held an open house in its new suite of offices in Two Decatur Town Center at 125 Clairemont Ave., near the old DeKalb Courthouse.

The chamber also made its name change official. It used to be the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, but now will be simply called the DeKalb Chamber.

With a small crowd gathered, the chamber unveiled its new logo, showing a globe with the motto, "The Power of One Voice."

Said John Kelley, chairman of the chamber board of directors, "That's what the logo represents, bringing the world to DeKalb."
