Brianna Figueroa Named Homecoming Queen

Brianna Figueroa, a senior at Tucker High School, was named the 2013 Homecoming Queen during the Tigers' victory game against the Dunwoody Wildcats on Friday.   

Brianna is a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Beta Club, Habitat for Humanity, and a Student Ambassador for Livvy’s Love Foundation, according to her mother, Bridgett Figueroa.

Brianna is in the International Baccalaureate Programme and was voted Vice President of her senior class. She is Captain of Varsity football cheerleading and co-founder of ABO fitness club at Tucker High School. She is also an officer and member of the Young Ladies in Stride – a Christian-based community service organization. Her hobbies are horseback riding, ballet, gymnastics, and watching movies.

What about future goals? Brianna sees herself working as a doctor of veterinarian medicine or as an ecologist studying the relationship between plants, animals, and their environments, her mother said. 

Her escort on Friday was her father, Ernesto Figueroa.
