Tucker Band Playing Benefit Concerts This Weekend

Gigs are in Sandy Springs and Roswell.

Local band No Komment is playing two gigs this weekend that benefit different communities.

The band consists of four 12 and 13-year-olds, all of whom live in Tucker - Jessica Thompson (vocals/guitar), Madison Kesel (vocals/guitar), Justin Thompson (drums) and Miles Wakeman (bass).

On Saturday, Nov. 10, they will play at a new venue in Sandy Springs called Steve's Live Music, from 6 to 7 p.m. A $5 suggested donation goes to the Davis Academy's arts and music program.

The second show takes place Sunday at noon in Roswell, in honor of Veterans Day, on the outside stage at 100 Wheels. It's a benefit that will help provide war veterans with wheelchairs.

No Komment has played quite a few venues around town, including Shorty's Pizza, Old Tucker Fountain, and the most recent Tucker Day, as well as concert halls around Atlanta. They have also recorded some tracks at Gypsy Union Studios in Helen, Ga.
